Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - J.K. Rowling

How is this even better than I remember? J.K. Rowling gave us such a wonderful gift with this series.

The Dursley's are so much more horrible to Harry than the movies portray. I hate them.

Hagrid is such a great character - something I forget when I'm only watching the movies.

There's such great, subtle humor in these novels. I find myself laughing almost unexpectedly. I think that's one of the things I forgot the most, how much they make me laugh, and how deeply they touch my emotions. I'm still so connected to this story and these characters.
